Mary Jo Gregory serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of The NARBHA Institute, bringing the contemporary expertise of a nationally recognized healthcare executive in the areas of acute hospital system leadership and health transformation. She is a Fellow at the National Association of Corporate Directors and Board Member of North Country Healthcare. Recently, she was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters from Northern Arizona University. During her tenure as CEO of Northern Arizona Regional Behavioral Health Authority (NARBHA), she led the evolution from regulating behavioral services to an integrated healthcare system by forming the joint venture partnership of Health Choice Arizona, now a part of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona. Prior to joining NARBHA in 2013, she served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for a 12-hospital health system where she leveraged her operational expertise in nurturing organizational cultures to achieve and sustain exceptional results in quality and patient safety. Previous experience included hospital and system CEO positions with Tenet Healthcare that spanned 20 years in leading facilities in Massachusetts, California, Florida, and Arizona.
