Juliette Roddy, PhD

Juliette Roddy serves as The NARBHA Institute James Wurgler, MD endowed Chair in Criminal Justice and Behavioral Health at Northern Arizona University. As an economist and recognized expert in mixed methods research in the fields of criminal justice and behavioral health for the past 21 years, her contributions have been featured in leading national and international publications. During her tenure at the University of Michigan Dearborn, she led curriculum and pedagogy strategies in substance use studies. Her community work includes service as a member and executive board treasurer for the Native Americans for Community Action (NACA) and board member of the Inter-Tribal Advisory Council in Flagstaff, Arizona. She is also an enrolled member of the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians.
